Rules
This is a copy of the rules as of March 19 2025 from the (18+) ChristUR Wiki Discord Server. They also apply to the Steam Discussion Forum.
This server is only for those who are 18 years old and older. We will never allow any minors, as in anyone under the age of 18 years old, to ever remain on this server.
All opinions of individuals in the server are their own and do not represent christian universalism as a whole. We are a diverse group of people from different countries, denominations, and backgrounds. Our only commonality is we are Christians who believe all humans shall be saved.
Baseline: Please follow Discord's Terms of Service (https://discord.com/terms) and Guidelines (https://discord.com/guidelines).
1: Treat server members and anyone not in our server with respect and good faith understanding.
Cyberbullying, arguing in bad faith, passive aggressiveness, stereotyping, gaslighting, etc. are not allowed or okay.
2: Have civil debates without continuous, repetitive, or severe negative comments .
The goal of debates/discussions in this server is to learn something new, expand and/or strengthen your beliefs, and healthily connect with others. Therefore, please refrain from strawman and "gotcha" arguments. Have good faith and don’t refer to others as evil or untrustworthy.
3: No name calling, invalidating others, or giving unfair and mean criticisms, especially regarding someone's Christian status. This includes non-universalists and any denomination or theological figure.
God is the only being able to judge who is a "true Christian." Calling others in this server "false Christians," "not a Christian," or "unable to get to Heaven/going to hell" is not allowed.
Please do not call others heretics/lukewarm, insult their denominations, shame them for speaking their minds, or otherwise invalidate and belittle their beliefs. When in doubt, criticize ideologies and people in positions of power without stereotyping, not the general populace or people in the server.
Please label all jokes regarding someone’s denomination or Christian status with a tone indicator.
4: Respect the Christian religion and Universal Reconciliation.
One-sided and close-minded proselytizing is not allowed. Do not call beliefs heretical in an attempt to insult them
5: Every religious group welcome here. Do not argue why these groups shouldn't be allowed on the server. Blanket statements on how these groups are evil, not Christian, etc., are not allowed. You are free to criticize their theology but don’t make these members feel unwelcomed by bashing what they believe in. As a rule of thumb, please use the phrase “Many x believe in…” instead of “X believe in….” to avoid unfair generalizations. Remember, non-toxic people exist in these groups too, and it's not appropriate to say "XYZ are not Christian" or "XYZ are evil"
6: Lying about your age, for any reason, will get you banned. If you joke about actually being a minor, you will be banned. Please do not share content from this server that’s not meant for minors to minors.
7: Screenshots of DM’s and other servers for the purposes of ridicule are not allowed and discussions on ex-members, whether they left voluntarily or were banned, should be avoided and kept respectful.
This rule is implemented to avoid cyberbullying and one-sided discussions where outside parties are unable to defend themselves as they are not on our server.
We are only responsible for what happens within the server and would prefer to not bring outside server drama/events inward. It is okay to ask for advice if you are debating or discussing as long as you remain respectful.
9: Toxic (especially fundamentalist/infernalist) rage bait links are not allowed.
A lot of creators create content as inflammatory as possible to bring in as much viewership and revenue as possible. Don’t fall for it, and don’t post the links in the server. Screenshots are acceptable, in moderation.
10: Additionally, content that has been banned/getting repeated offenses from a social media site or is known to be promoting content that would break rules of the server here are not allowed.
This doesn't apply to showing why this content is wrong but please do not promote these creators and post direct links to their content. When in doubt, screenshot.
11: It is acceptable to have controversial opinions on controversial matters (abortion, politics, etc.), but it is not permitted to attack, invalidate, or denigrate those you disagree with.
If controversial topics arise, please move them and keep them civil in debate. We do not tolerate belittling political and ideological beliefs in others, even if presented with Biblical evidence.
The following, however, is non-negotiable:
Child marriage, slavery, forced prostitution, rape (inside and outside of marriage), pedophilia, and child and domestic abuse are objectively bad and evil, regardless of the time period or justifications for it.
Racism is not allowed.
Black Lives Matter, no buts.
Transphobic or homophobic attacks, comments, or insinuations towards others are never okay (this includes purposely not using preferred pronouns) and LGBTQ+ Christians are still Christian.
Additionally, these groups, and all discriminated minority groups, deserve human rights, basic dignity, and respect.
Mental health is valid and important.
Nazism, antisemitism, and white nationalism are absolutely not allowed. No holocaust denial.
No unsolicited medical advice or opinions.
Putin and Israel are war criminals.
We do not condone physical sacrifices of animals, blood, etc.
We are against beastiality. No zoophilia.
12: Toxic, threatening, inappropriate, and illegal behaviors are absolutely NOT allowed or tolerated and will lead to a timeout, kick, or ban, depending on the severity.
They are listed below:
Asking for donations in the server or through member DM’s
No sending cyptocurrency (ex: bitcoin) trading requests in the server or through member DM's.
Death threats, threats of violence, and threats to harm others
Doxxing, including yourself
Brigading or raiding other servers or people's DMS (especially if they have been banned)
The use of slurs (reclaimed or not). Our bots will delete your messages if a slur is detected.
Trying to evade or bypass the bot to say slurs. (Obvious, accidental misspellings do not apply)
Absolutely no content that sexualizes minors in any way shape or form.
Glorifying suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders (You are allowed to talk about the topic of suicide, but please do not post messages where there's actual plans in which the method of suicide is detailed.)
Posting gifs/videos that display flashing/strobing more than 3 times per second without censoring or warning
Threatening self-harm to manipulate
Sharing real media depicting gore, excessive violence, or animal harm
Perpetuating misinformation
Organizing, promoting, or supporting violent extremism
Disrupting the peace or general “vibes” of the server
Choosing roles that do not apply to you to gain access to channels that are not for you
Distributing or providing access to content involving the hacking, cracking, or distribution of stolen goods, pirated content, or accounts (this rule is just here so we don't get the community banned, but pirating stuff like adobe products is based tbh)
Nazi imagery, dogwhistles, and support in messages, DM’s, profile picture, name, banner, About Me, etc. will result in an immediate ban.
No using banned words from the banned word list
Unsolicited DM's to users that says "Why are you Christian if you are [blank]", especially with LGBTQ+ users
Begging to be moderator or a “community spokesperson” especially in dm’s to mods and admins.
-Unsolicited invite links to servers. Please ask before sending them.
If you are an orphanage or a church in need of donations -especially if you claim to be from Africa - this is NOT the place for you to scam us and you WILL be banned. If you’re legitimate, we are not a charity server. Please use support-resources in your case.
All of these acts go against Discord's Guidelines.
13: Keep discussions to the appropriate channel and practice channel discipline.
Please use common sense and ask if there is ever uncertainty. For controversial or otherwise triggering content, please use Discord's spoiler feature to hide it (like this) and/or take the content to the appropriate channel.
If other people, especially mods, tell you to move to a different channel, move to a different channel.
14: Do your best to communicate your thoughts and intentions clearly, ask for clarification, and indicate your tone when necessary.
No passive-aggressive statements. Tone indicators are highly encouraged to help avoid miscommunication, as text does not include physical or vocal clues like in-person communication. If English is not your first language, please tell us so we understand if there is a tonal miscommunication
Examples: /s = sarcastic. /j =joking. /hj=half-joking. /g or /gen=genuine. /srs = serious. /lh=light hearted. /nm=not mad.
You can also use entire words or use parenthesis, ex: (jk). Even emojis work as tone indicators.
15: No trolling, including spamming, starting a raid, and spoiling.
Just stop. It's not funny, and you are only making yourself look foolish
Anti Discrimination
Transmedicalism, TERFs/SWERFs, anti-nonbinary, aphobia, biphobia, racism, ableism, intersex-phobia, misogyny/misandry, anti-transfemmes/women, antisemitism, and other generally toxic beliefs are not welcomed or allowed. You may, however, ask for clarification to learn more about why some of these beliefs are toxic.

Do not invalidate someone's gender, pronouns, trans journey, or sexual/romantic orientation, even if you may not understand or relate.
Types of Account Restrictions Due to Scammers, Bots, and Trolls
New members are under stricter regulations due to trolls and immediate rule breakers. We are more lenient with members who have contributed without incident. If you ping or DM random people when joining the server, you may be considered a possible bot and be kicked. Immediately trying to send attachments like .jpg, .png, .mov, etc. when joining is not allowed and can be considered suspicious.
No ban evasion. If you've been banned from this server on one account, using another alt account to try to regain access will result in that account also being banned. Discord also flags users for "Engaged in suspected spam activity" https://www.reddit.com/r/discordapp/comments/1808zkd/new_discord_members_feature_engaged_in_suspected/ and "Sent excessive DMs to non-friend server members in last 24 hours" which will make us further suspicious of you. Also, if Discord hides your message(s) with "...message hidden from likely spammer"
If you have a GoFundMe link in your profile description, you will be banned.
The New CU Constitution
The following rules are unchangeable, immutable and steadfast and shall not be changed under any circumstance, be it by mod, admin or server owner.
1) All minors will be kicked from the server

Do not declare that you will commit suicide on this server. We are not a crisis line and are not equipped to deal with such emergencies. You may say you feel suicidal, or you wish you could commit suicide, or that you want to kill yourself, or that you have tried to kill yourself in the past. But if you say that you are actually going to kill yourself, you will be banned. All declarations of self death do on this server is trigger other users on here who are suicidal who are unable to help you in that dangerous situation.
Do not expect to be made a moderator just because you act friendly towards another mod. We do not promote people as mods based on nepotism or favoritism or politeness or niceties, but purely on their moderation abilities, their past experience, and their long term commitment to the server.
If a moderator does not perform enough moderator actions for a while, they will be removed from their moderator status due to inactivity. This is a safety measure to prevent any inactive accounts from being hacked and having the hacker have access to moderator actions on this server.

It also gaslights Person A into thinking they themselves are the reason why they're stressed, when it's the workplace abusing them. It's also demeaning to Person A when they are already getting at least 8 hours of sleep and are still feeling stressed.
Example of What to Do
Person A: I'm so stressed from my workplace abusing me.
Persom B: I'm sorry your workplace is mistreating you like that, you don't deserve to go through that.
As an additional rule, nobody deserves to be abused, regardless of their past.

Promoting being 'transabled' (a person who is not disabled seeking to acquire a disability) falls under encouraging self harm and is not allowed. Encouraging others to be physically 'transabled' is just enabling Body Integrity Dysphoria, where a person feels discomfort with being able-bodied.
Promoting the Adult Baby Diaper Lover (ABDL) fetish is not allowed as it is a paraphilic infantilism which sexualizes the experience of being a child. This is different from the psychological technique known as Age Regression, which is not sexual and thus not inherently bad.

Plural systems are valid and alters are each their own people. However, if there is an alter communicating in the server that is breaking the rules while using the system's shared Discord account, since Discord does not have a way to ban specifically just that one alter, we unfortunately will have to ban the entire system's account.
When choosing an age role, the age role yous select represents the physical age of the host system body yous are in. For example, if the system body is 17 years old, but has an alter that is an adult, your account is still not allowed on this 18+ server. Even if the host system's physical body is 18 years old, alters that are mentally under 18 years old are not allowed to participate on this server either, such as child alters or littles. Thus, every person on this adult only server must be both physically and mentally an adult.
