54:23 They have a good verse here about Christian Universalism. They talk about how God desires all people to be saved, that’s true!

On their official International Worship Centre Website they have a pdf document titled “Nurturing Series Booklet Student's Copy Click here for the ebook version for students.”
For some reason they have fill in the blank parts but I will fill it in
How Can We Be Saved?
There is the GOOD NEWS! God so loved us that He provided a way for us to have eternal life with
Him by ________ His Son Jesus Christ. (John 3:16, Romans 5:8).
I agree with this part
Two things for us to do:
First, by __________from our sins (180-degree turn). Repentance means asking God for forgiveness
of our sins and deciding to turn away from a sinful life to a life of __________ to God. When we
repent of our sins we receive God’s forgiveness. (Acts 2:38)

False! Repentance means the recognition of sins, thus recognizing the need for a savior to have faith alone in Christ to be saved. Turning away from sins is good, but that’s a good work! That’s following the law! Being saved is not about obeying the commandments, though they are good, it’s about grace through faith. We can’t earn salvation, all our good works are like filthy rags.
How can a person fully turn away from a sinful life without Christ? It’s impossible! That’s the tricky part. Without Christ, no matter what we do, we will always have sins. Evil will always be within us. Only the Blood of Christ washes away our sins. Doesn’t matter if we do a 180 degree turn, 360 degrees, you name it. None of our own efforts save us, only God is good and only He can make us good.
Naturally, after salvation, a Christian will desire to avoid sin and will inevitable live a life against sin. But we can only have that power by having the Holy Spirit of Christ dwelling within us, who washes away all our sins.
Second, by making Jesus our ____& _____ through personal confession. This means we give Jesus
full control over all areas of our lives and living a surrendered life to Jesus. (Romans 10:9-10,
Romans 10:13). This is spiritual rebirth or being born _____. It means becoming part of God’s
family—the word “again” literally means “from above”—becoming a child of God. It is being alive
_______ with the life Jesus gave us. (John 3:3-5, 2 Corinthians 5:17)
Here it seems to be the false doctrine of Lordship Salvation. Jesus is already Lord, He’s already our Savior! The problem is this promotes the lie of works salvation, because how can a person be made clean of sin without Jesus? Surrendering from committing sins is good, thus it’s a good work, which does not save us. Even the smallest mustard seed of faith is sufficient to save us my friends!
What’s interesting is that at the end they state
“We can never be saved by trying to be a good person, nor can we be saved through doing good
works, being kind to the poor, being religious, etc. (Ephesians 2:8-10). Salvation only happens by
placing our faith in Jesus and what He has done on the cross.”
So I agree with this. They agree that salvation is only by placing our faith in Jesus. They agree that we are never saved by doing good works. Yet, why do they mention turning from sin as a requirement to be saved? It’s contradictory, I say this with kindness.
As a Christian, it’s good to do good works after salvation. And I can see why they want to promote good works, since they’re good. But, saying that they are required for salvation is wrong. Good works are the fruit, that will ultimately come AFTER salvation, as a result of being born again, they never come BEFORE salvation. Because only with the Holy Spirit, God, dwelling within us, are our works truly good.
